Bhubaneswar, Feb. 4 -- India will begin their T20 World Cup 2026 campaign later this week with a clash against the USA at Mumbai's iconic Wankhede Stadium. Led by Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian side enters the tournament as defending champions, having lifted the trophy in 2024 under Rohit Sharma's captaincy. That victory marked India's second T20 World Cup title, following their historic triumph in the inaugural edition in 2007.
