Bhubaneswar, Feb. 18 -- Acting on allegations of illegal betting linked to the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup, Rourkela Police on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at multiple locations across the city, seizing electronic devices and cash.

According to sources, search operations were carried out in areas under the jurisdiction of Plant Site, Uditnagar, Raghunathpali, and Brahmani Tarang police stations. The crackdown was launched following specific intelligence inputs regarding suspected betting activities during the international cricket tournament.
