Bhubaneswar, Nov. 22 -- In a startling statement following the death of popular Odia singer Humane Sagar on November 17, his mother Shefali Suna on Saturday alleged that her son's health, programme schedules and financial matters were concealed from her. Moreover, his son was made to attend events despite being seriously ill.

According to Suna, Sagar was unaware of his own programme dates.

"Programme details were not told to Humane. Papu used to book the shows and handle the money. He knew everything about my son," she said.

Suna recalled that although her son was unwell, he was made to perform in Bhubaneswar on November 10. The next morning, his condition worsened.
