Bhubaneswar, Dec. 30 -- Popular singer Arpita Choudhury has reportedly approached the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the death case of noted Odia playback singer Humane Sagar.
Sources reported on Tuesday that Choudhury filed a joint anticipatory bail petition along with Soumesh Satapathy, after both were named in an FIR lodged by the singer's mother, Shefali Suna, who has held them responsible for her son's death.
According to sources, the petition was filed apprehending arrest following the registration of the case, in which a total of nine persons have been named as accused. Notably, the deceased singer's mother had sought a criminal investigation into the circumstances leading to Humane Sagar's death....
