India, April 7 -- Security forces on Monday conducted a successful operation to dismantle a Maoist hideout situated in the dense Saranda forest, along the border of Odisha and Jharkhand in the West Singhbhum district. As per reports, the operation was launched following intelligence inputs about Maoist hideouts in the forest region.

The joint raid, executed by the Special Task Force (STF) in collaboration with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), was a strategic move against Maoist insurgency.
