Bhubaneswar, Nov. 12 -- A Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) from the Indian Railways recently explained how senior citizens can get lower berth while booking train ticket.

The video, filmed onboard the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, is quite informative for passengers who often face problems in berth allotments under the senior citizen quota.

The TTE explained that only two passengers should be booked on a single ticket to avail the senior citizen quota and get a lower berth. If you include more than two people on the same ticket, the quota benefits lapse, he added.
