Bhubaneswar, Jan. 3 -- The Srimandir at Odisha's Puri is observing Pausha Purnima on Saturday with the performance of the Suna Besha of the Holy Trinity, a significant ritual in the annual temple calendar. On this occasion, the Pushyabhisheka ritual of Lord Jagannath is conducted in accordance with established temple traditions, drawing the attention of devotees across the state.
As part of the ceremonial proceedings, 108 pots of water mixed with ghee, which was kept in the Adhibasa Griha since Friday, are sanctified with sandalwood paste. These consecrated pots are used for the Abhisheka of Lord Jagannath as per ritual norms.
