Hindalco Industries Ltd, part of the Aditya Birla Group, will invest Rs 200 crore to set up two apparel manufacturing units in Odisha. The company signed two separate Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Odisha government in this regard on Friday at the state's first-ever textile investment summit, Odisha TEX 2025.
According to reports by The New Indian Express, the apparel units will be set up in Keonjhar and Sambalpur districts, with Rs 100 crore allocated to each location.
