Bhubaneswar, Feb. 18 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has completed the installation of state-of-the-art safety and emergency management systems in Tunnel No. 7 of the Khordha Road-Bolangir Rail Line Project, marking a major step towards ensuring safe and passenger-centric railway operations in Odisha.

Tunnel-7, measuring 1,975 metres and located between Purunakatak and Charichhak in Boudh district, recently achieved a successful breakthrough. Following this milestone, the focus shifted to equipping the tunnel with advanced safety infrastructure in strict compliance with prescribed railway safety standards.
