Bhubaneswar, April 4 -- The grueling heat wave, which is presently sweeping many parts of the state, is expected to continue for three more days with day temperature very likely to increase up to three degrees Celsius. It being the election season, the weather department has advised people to avoid exposure to the sun during gatherings, political rallies and meetings.

The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning to six districts. The warning will remain in force till April 6. The districts that have been issued yellow warnings are Bolangir, Keonjhar, Boudh, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Angul.
