Bhubaneswar, Feb. 16 -- A man has been left fighting for his life after coming in contact with a 33kv electric wire at Chitalpur, Pipili. Rabi Narayan Nayak, an accountant working with the Balanga Irrigation Sub-Division, is in a critical state after accidentally coming into contact with a high-voltage electric wire.

Nayak sustained grave injuries, with burns extending from his feet to his thigh. The perilous proximity of the 33 kilovolt (kV) electric wire to the work area reportedly posed a substantial risk. It is alleged that Nayak inadvertently touched the electric wire.
