Bhubaneswar, Jan. 3 -- Two wagons of a goods train derailed on the joint line of the Howrah-Mumbai main line near the Bondamunda Railway Station area under the Chakradharpur Railway Division in Sundargarh district in Odisha, railway officials said on Saturday.

The incident occurred when the freight train was en route from the Jharsuguda exchange yard to MCL.

According to information available, the derailment took place within the jurisdiction of the Chakradharpur Railway Division, a key operational section on the Howrah-Mumbai trunk route.
