Bhubaneswar, Nov. 28 -- A cross-continental relationship that began 15 years ago in Singapore culminated in marriage at Paralakhemundi in Odisha's Gajapati district on Wednesday. Rajeev and Anna, who first met while working at a hospital in Singapore, formalised their bond in a traditional Hindu ceremony after the bride travelled from Slovakia to India.
According to family members, Rajeev and Anna stayed in touch even after Rajeev returned to India from Singapore. Their long-distance connection eventually prompted Anna to visit Paralakhemundi, where she was warmly welcomed by Rajeev's family.
