Bhubaneswar, Dec. 23 -- Four tourists from West Bengal were rescued from drowning by lifeguards while bathing in the sea at Puri beach on Tuesday, averting a potentially fatal incident. The incident occurred at Sector No. 9 beach near Chaitanya Chhak, where the tourists had entered the water together.

According to reports, the tourists were bathing in the sea when they were suddenly swept into deeper waters and began struggling to stay afloat. Other visitors noticed the situation and immediately alerted the lifeguards stationed nearby.
