Bhubaneswar, Feb. 13 -- Former Union Minister Kanhu Charan Lenka passed away at the age of 86 on Friday. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Lenka had served as an MLA from Choudwar from 1995 to 2000. He was also a Rajya Sabha MP from 1988 to 1994.
During his political career at the Centre, he served as Minister of State for Railways and Agriculture. He was a Union Minister in the government headed by P. V. Narasimha Rao.
