Amid the growing public anger and political reactions over the tragic death of Balasore's Fakir Mohan College student Soumyashree, her grieving father Balaram Bishi has made an emotional appeal, urging everyone not to politicise his daughter's death.
Folding his hands and breaking down in tears, he said, "My daughter is gone. Please don't do politics in her name. The government has been sensitive to the incident and has responded by fulfilling some of the family's demands, with assurance to act on the rest."
