Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- In spite of the restrictions enforced in view of Covid-19 pandemic, illegal flesh trade seems to be thriving in the Silver City of Cuttack with the Commissionerate Police busting two such illicit joints on Saturday.

While a sex racket operating at a hotel for a long time was busted in Malgodown police limits, the other racket was busted in Shankarpur Das Sahi under Badambadi police limits.

In Malgodown, a police team led by the local inspector-in-charge and ACP raided Ambika Residency hotel and busted the racket. Some objectionable items were seized while a woman pimp and two hotel staff were arrested during the raid.
