Bhubaneswar, Feb. 2 -- A fire broke out in a coal-laden goods train passing through Bolangir district on Monday, triggering swift action by railway authorities and fire services. The incident was reported at Turekela railway station, where timely intervention prevented any casualties or major damage.

According to preliminary information, the goods train was en route from Raipur to Visakhapatnam when flames were first noticed near Harishankar Road railway station. Following the detection of the fire, an alert was immediately issued to officials at Turekela railway station.
