A serious allegation has emerged against a mathematics lecturer of Adikabi Sarala Das College at Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur district. A female student has accused the lecturer of deliberately deducting her marks in the internal examination because she did not attend his private tuition classes.
According to the student, the lecturer acted out of personal vengeance and intentionally awarded her lower marks, which has adversely affected her academic record.
The student has filed a formal complaint with the district Collector, claiming that the deduction of marks has prevented her from qualifying for various scholarship examinations....
