The ongoing farmer registration drive in Odisha for paddy procurement purposes has been extended till August 25.

As per reports, around 17 lakh farmers in the state have completed their registration so far, and the number is expected to cross 20 lakh, informed Food Suppliers and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra on Saturday.

For the Kharif season 2025-26, Odisha government has further simplified the farmer registration process.
