Bhubaneswar, Nov. 17 -- A notorious mobile snatcher was arrested on Monday at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station after the GRP identified him using advanced face-scan technology, leading to the recovery of over four stolen mobile phones and helping police crack multiple pending cases across several districts.

In a significant breakthrough, the Government Railway Police (GRP) used the Face App scanning system to detect and intercept the accused at the railway station. The man, identified as Amit Kumar Barik, had earlier been involved in several snatching incidents within the city and neighbouring districts.
