Bhubaneswar, Jan. 6 -- A new political party will take shape in Odisha on January 12, coinciding with National Youth Day, announced senior leader Mohammed Moquim on Monday. The announcement from the former MLA from Cuttack came after he was expelled from the Congress on charges of anti-party activities recently.

Speaking to OTV, Moquim stated that the new party would give priority to young leadership, particularly from the coastal districts of the state. He said the formal groundwork for the party would begin on January 12, while the party's official formation is expected in the last week of March.
