A 22-year-old engineering student has tragically died by suicide, allegedly due to distress caused by his college's actions. Tapan Acharya, from Botanda Mahaveer Nagar in Bhubaneswar, was found dead on the railway tracks near Lingaraj Station.
Tapan was a student at a local private engineering college. His father, Ajay Acharya, has accused the institution of contributing to his son's tragic decision. According to Acharya, the college confiscated Tapan's mobile phone earlier that day, which he believes distressed his son.
