Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- Police arrested three persons today after conducting raid at an edible oil adulteration unit in Laxmisagar area of Bhubaneswar. During the raid, the cops also seized different materials used as ingredients, plastic bottles, caps, labels of different brands and 50 to 60 cans of oil.
As per reports, oil and ghee of big brands were adulterated at the unit and sold much cheaper than the market prices. Acting on a tip off, a team of cops had conducted the raid at the manufacturing unit today.
An investigation has been launched to find out where these products were being sent and for how many years the factory was operating.
