The mortal remains of District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawan Dinesh Nag, who was martyred in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Monday, were consigned to flames with full state honours on Tuesday.
Nag lost his life when Maoists detonated an improvised explosive device during an anti-Maoist operation in the Bijapur National Park area. Three other jawans were critically injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment at Raipur Medical College.
