SAMBALPUR, Oct. 23 -- After a police case was registered against some doctors of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science And Research (VIMSAR) in Sambalpur for thrashing two youths and forcing them to do sit-ups in full public glare, father of one of the victims today lodged a complaint before the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC).
Thana Sundar Behera, father of Mukesh Behera, alleged that the planned attack by doctors, who also forced his son to do sit-ups, have defamed his family. Behera expressed resentment alleging that despite concrete evidence, no action was taken against the accused medicos and the assistant professor Suryakant Patjoshi.
