Bhubaneswar, Jan. 3 -- In a shocking incident that has sent ripples of fear across the area, a man was allegedly killed after being attacked with a screwdriver near Talcher Police Station on Saturday in Angul district. The deceased has been identified as Santosh Mahapatra of the Talcher town area.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Chagala Amanta, had invited Santosh a few days ago to cook at a feast. During that event, Chagala allegedly accused Santosh of stealing Rs 7,200, leading to a heated argument between the two. The argument over the money continued to simmer between them and remained unresolved.
