Bhubaneswar, Dec. 2 -- Temperatures plummeted in Binika on Monday and early Tuesday morning following a spell of light rain, leading to dense fog and severely reduced visibility across the region. Residents woke up today to an intensified cold wave, with roads and surroundings appearing blanketed in a white layer early in the morning. Many locals were seen lighting bonfires to cope with the biting cold.
The sudden weather shift came after brief rainfall on Monday, which reportedly triggered a further drop in temperatures across the town.
