Balasore, July 27 -- Palpable tension prevailed in Khaira area of Balasore district after locals detained the teachers of Ratina Prahallada Model School following death of two Class-VII boy students on Friday.
Reportedly, the deceased- Dhananjay Jena, Rajesh Sahu, had gone to the canal after having mid-day meals to take a bath when accidentally they slipped and drowned. Following the incident, the irate locals and family members of the students locked up ten teachers inside the school for ten long hours. They also demanded the administration to suspend all the teachers for dereliction in duty.
