Bhubneswar, March 16 -- Exodus from the ruling-BJD continues as Pritinanda Routray, daughter of senior BJP leader Damodar Rout, resigned from the party's primary membership today.
In her resignation letter sent to Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik, Pritinanda said due to personal reasons she has quit the party. Meanwhile, the former corporator of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has not clarified which party she would join.
"Resigning from BJD is my personal decision. My mother is unwell and looking at my father's condition, my conscience led me to take the decision," said Pritinanda.
