Cyclonic storm: IMD's latest update on forecast track and intensity
Bhubaneswar, Dec. 6 -- A cyclonic storm, which will be named Mandous, has started taking shape with the low pressure area becoming well-marked over the southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB) on Tuesday.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the system is likely to concentrate into a depression by this evening. As per the forecast, the system is likely to intensify further gradually into a cyclonic storm.
"The cyclonic storm will reach near north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh coasts by December 8 morning," said IMD.
