A cyclonic circulation currently active over the northwestern Bay of Bengal and its adjoining areas is expected to trigger a spell of widespread rainfall across Odisha over the next four days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned.
In view of this, the IMD issued Orange and Yellow alerts for several districts, while also stating that some areas may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
