Bhubaneswar, Nov. 23 -- The low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a well-marked low-pressure area, raising the possibility of cyclonic development in the coming days, meteorologists predicted on Sunday.
As per the predictions, the system is expected to further intensify into a depression by November 24 and could potentially escalate into a cyclonic storm over the southwestern Bay of Bengal.
While the IMD is yet to predict the path, wind speed of the possible cyclone, weather expert Dr Sarat Sahu has said the system will have no impact on Odisha.
