Bhubaneswar, Nov. 26 -- A new tropical cyclone named 'Senyar' has officially formed over the Malacca Strait region and adjoining northeastern Indonesia, after a deep depression drifting westward over the sea intensified into a cyclonic system.
The cyclone is currently positioned nearly 100 km east of Kut Makmur in Indonesia and approximately 600 km from Malaysia, according to meteorological observations.
Weather experts tracking the system report that Senyar is expected to continue moving west-southwest initially and then gradually shift eastward, as it travels over the sea waters surrounding Southeast Asia.
