The Union government has sanctioned a significant grant of Rs 13,000 crore this year for the development of National Highways across the state, stipulating swift project execution to achieve goals, informed Odisha Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Thursday while reviewing the pace and status of the projects.
According to the Minister, a target has been set to complete roadworks worth Rs 2,000 crore by September. Moreover, the entire budget is expected to be utilised by the year-end, setting a new record in infrastructure project completion.
