CUTTACK, Jan. 21 -- Even after a month since an elderly couple from Beleswar area of Cuttack was murdered, the Commissionerate Police is yet to get any clue in the case following which family of the victim has announced Rs 50,000 cash reward for information on the culprits.
"My parents had no enmity with anyone so I am clueless why they were killed," said Madhusmita Samal, daughter of the murdered couple.
As per reports, on December 12, miscreants slit throats of Srinath Samal and his wife Bidulata Samal after barging into their house at around 7PM. Later, a police investigation was launched into the case.
