The diarrhoea and suspected cholera outbreak that has gripped Jajpur district is now spreading to Cuttack, with the first cluster of cases emerging from the Tangi-Choudwar block. Sources reported that at least 15 residents of Sundari village in Safa panchayat have been infected with symptoms of acute diarrhoeal disease so far.

Reports also added that several of those infected are currently undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College in Cuttack and nearby private hospitals.
