India, March 24 -- A businessman in Cuttack reportedly fell victim to an armed robbery on Monday, during which perpetrators allegedly threatened him at gunpoint and took the valuables. The incident reportedly occurred at his residence in Bikash Nagar locality, which falls under the Badambadi Police limits.

The businessman claimed that the robbers made away with Rs 5 lakh after subjecting him to physical assault. His driver was also injured in the attack.

Local law enforcement has launched a probe to uncover further details and apprehend the suspects involved.
