At a time when the venue is gearing up to host the India-England ODI on February 9 this year, its legacy of hosting one of Indian cricket's greatest moments ever comes back into the spotlight.
On January 19, 2017, the Barabati Stadium saw MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh take their last 'grand stand' together, with both scoring their final One Day International (ODI) centuries in a thrilling match against England.
In the match, India was struggling at 25 for 3 after losing quick wickets. The team needed heroes, and Dhoni and Yuvraj rose to the occasion.
