Bhubaneswar, Dec. 7 -- Two passenger buses collided near Badambadi in Cuttack on Sunday morning after one vehicle rear-ended the other, police said. The accident occurred at the busy Badambadi Chhak, triggering a major traffic jam and disrupting the normal flow of vehicles.
According to preliminary information, both buses were on their way out of the Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal in Khannagar when the collision occurred.
Police said one of the two buses was waiting for the signal at Badambadi when the second bus rammed into it. The rear portion of the front bus and the windshield of the second vehicle were completely mangled. Both buses were empty at the time, officers confirmed, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
