Bhubaneswar, Feb. 20 -- Odisha Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan issued a resolute response to the media on Thursday following the suspicious death of a female student and subsequent student unrest at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar.

Assuring that accountability will be upheld, the Law Minister expressed, "No individuals, even slightly involved in the incidents, will be exempted from scrutiny or justice."

A high-level committee has already begun an investigation at the institute, whilst the police continue their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death.

"Whether it is the authorities from KIIT University or any other person(s), those found guilty will be dealt with according to the law and face the befitting consequence...
