Bhubaneswar, Jan. 12 -- The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) issued a clarification on Monday regarding an advertisement related to the so-called 'bus driver referral programme'. CRUT officials stated that the banners were put up without any official approval from the authorities.

According to sources, the banner was earlier noticed on the inner wall of an EV station within the bus depot on the previous day (Sunday), triggering concern and prompting an official response from CRUT.

Calling the advertisement misleading, CRUT said it has no connection with the organisation. Officials further warned that strict action would be taken against the individual whose mobile number appears on the allegedly unofficial banner.
