Bhubaneswar, April 11 -- Bhubaneswar: Even as the country witnessed the launch of 'Tika Utsav', a four-day long mega vaccination programme against Coronavirus, as many as 900 centres ran out of vaccine doses in Odisha on Sunday.

The ongoing Covid-19 vaccination in the State will be hampered and might be stopped if fresh stock of vaccines is not supplied by tomorrow, said State Family Welfare Department Director Bijay Panigrahi.

Talking about Tika Utsav, which is being celebrated across the country from April 11-14, Panigrahi said, "The main purpose of the celebration is to ensure zero wastage of vaccine and increasing awareness about the vaccination process."
