Odisha on Friday reported seven new COVID-19 positive cases, pushing the total number of active cases in the state to 30. The latest cases were confirmed by the State Health Department, raising fresh concerns about a possible resurgence of the coronavirus.

According to official sources, Khordha district continues to be the most affected, with 16 active cases, followed by Cuttack, which has reported nine positive cases. Meanwhile, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, and Balasore have each reported one case, indicating a wider geographical spread.
