Bhubaneswar, May 15 -- Bhubaneswar: As the COVID numbers in Odisha continues to raise concern, the capital city, Bhubaneswar saw 1118 persons getting infected with the dreaded disease in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, 851 more patients have also recuperated and discharged from hospital.

With the new cases, the active caseload in the city has now climbed up to 11,683. Out of the new cases, 174 persons are in quarantine while the rest 944 are local contact cases.

The most, 35 cases have been reported from Laxmisagar area followed by Dumduma (33). As many as 30 fresh cases have been detected from Chandrasekharpur area.

Similarly, Niladri Vihar registered 24 cases. As many as 20 cases were reported each from Baragada and Jharapada....
