Bhubaneswar, Oct. 20 -- Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 recovery count in Odisha crossed 2.5 lakh mark on Tuesday after as many as 2622 patients recovered in last 24 hours. As on date, the State's total recoveries are at 252197.

State Health department informed that the highest number of recoveries were reported from Khordha district where 431 patients were declared free of the viral disease.

Similarly, Angul recorded 216, Cuttack 197, Mayurbhanj 131, Sundergarh 125 recoveries. A total of seven districts reported over 100 recoveries.

Earlier in the day, the State had reported 1904 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the virus tally to 272250. This apart, 16 patients succumbed to the disease during the period.
