Bhubaneswar, Dec. 13 -- A case has been registered at Tangi police station in Cuttack district after a woman alleged that she and her husband were threatened at gunpoint late at night by a neighbour and his associates, following some past enmity.

Police have launched an investigation and conducted a spot verification at the complainant's residence.

Sources reported that the complaint was lodged by Tiki Ojha, a resident of Badhei Sahi under Tangi police limits. According to the complaint, the incident occurred late on Friday night when Ojha and her husband heard loud banging on the gate of their house and stepped outside to check.
