Bhubaneswar, March 23 -- Cuttack- After facing embarrassment for arresting a youth in Cuttack on false charges, Commissionerate Police today admitted its mistake. Police Commissioner Satyajit Mohanty clarified that the youth Chandan Moharana was innocent and was mistakenly booked in a case.
This was revealed after re- investigation was carried out by senior officials following directions from DCP Cuttack. As there were similarities in the name of the original accused and the youth arrested, the investigating officer committed the mistake.
