In a major breakthrough ahead of the festive season, the Commissionerate Police on Wednesday arrested three interstate arms dealers in a special operation. Acting on intelligence inputs, the Special Crime Unit conducted a raid and seized a large cache of weapons and vehicles from the accused.

According to officials, the raid led to the recovery of 8 semi-automatic firearms, 32 rounds of live ammunition, and 3 high-end luxury cars. The arrested accused have been identified as Mahesh Kumar from Jharkhand, Mohammad Sakawat from Khordha, and Firoz Ali Khan.
