Bhubaneswar, Dec. 9 -- Odisha continues to reel under widespread cold conditions, with the chill expected to persist for the next four days. As per the latest forecast, the State will remain under the influence of cold and dry north-westerly winds until December 12, keeping temperatures significantly low, especially during night hours.

Meteorological reports indicate that an active high-pressure belt over Rajasthan is pushing cold and dry winds toward Odisha. Despite the prevailing weather pattern, no major change in night temperatures is anticipated during this period. Many locations across the State are likely to record minimum temperatures below 10degC, prolonging the ongoing cold wave.
